ATX Trans Pride was founded in 2019.

Founded by Austin-native producer & DJ, ED WEST.

ATX Trans Pride began as a response to Austin Pride’s lack of trans-diversity on its yearly line-ups.

Trans Pride initially took place in August 2019. The Global Pandemic prevented Trans Pride from happening in 2020.

2021-2024 ATX Trans Pride took place in August in Austin, TX.

2025 saw ATX Trans Pride happen in June and August, respectively. Each event featured a different line-up of trans artists.

2026 sees ATP expanding across multiple venues in Austin, TX during an entire weekend in SEPTEMBER (9/18-9/20). Each event is curated by a different member of the local trans community: from pool parties to late night raves to drag shows. 2026 is a year of EXPANSION for ATX Trans Pride.
